Synopsis of The War of Cards
Hundreds of years ago, a sudden meteor shower caused a cataclysm that split the entire world into two continents—one where life forms coexist, yet remain absolutely isolated from each other. To save humanity’s civilization, which was on the brink of extinction, hundreds of scientists from the original continent, led by Rosenberg, united the strength of various nations to develop a new type of energy supply device (card). The protagonist, Chen Mu, starts as a weak, helpless, and impoverished young boy. After enduring a series of struggles and hardships in his adventures, he never gives up or retreats. Through his innate kindness and tolerance, exceptional effort, and the enthusiastic help of friends and family, he ultimately overcomes numerous obstacles and grows into a righteous, morally upright, and capable leader who earns the respect of others.
